Winter Softball Prospect Clinic

Join us for our Winter Softball Prospect Clinic! We are offering a 4-hour clinic that includes all aspects of softball skill instruction. We aim to increase basic softball knowledge while also covering the higher-level skills needed for advancement in our game. This clinic is geared towards the competitive softball player and will cover hitting, defense, and baserunning. Please note that we will not cover pitching instruction at this clinic. We always strive to provide a unique and positive camp experience, regardless of prior camp attendance. Registrants will receive instruction from the University of Delaware Softball staff as well as the players.

The Winter Softball Prospect Clinic will focus on showcasing the main components of hitting, defense, and baserunning. All facets of hitting will be covered, including mechanics, swing specific strength, the mental side, etc. This clinic will also focus on the breakdown of infield and outfield fundamentals as well as high level philosophies put into action during semi live play. This clinic will provide numerous opportunities to improve skill and gain softball IQ. There will be no pitching instruction for this clinic, however, there will be defensive instruction provided. This clinic will be held in our indoor turf facility, the Delaware Field House, so weather will not be an issue and will continue rain or shine.

Registrants must bring all softball equipment, tennis shoes/turf shoes, and a water bottle. We are not allowed to wear metal spikes on the turf.  Due to state law in Delaware, guardians must sign campers in and out each day unless the athlete is 18 years old.
