Join us for our Elite Prospect Camp! This camp is geared towards the advanced, competitive softball player that is going into 7th grade up until 12th grade. Campers will receive instruction from the University of Delaware Softball staff as well as other college coaches and players from across the country (if the need is great.)
This one-day camp will have two parts: Pitching/catching only session and an all skills session. The pitching and catching session will be held from 10 am to 11:30 am and will be a defensive skill session for both pitchers and catchers. Pitchers will need to bring a catcher with them that is not registered in the catching camp. The all skills session will focus on advanced instructional components with opportunities to showcase abilities. All facets of the game will be covered, including hitting, position specific defense, team defensive play, base running, and the mental game. Athletes will have the chance to showcase their talent and coach-ability through various drills and live scenarios.
Please note that the itinerary for the camp could change based on the needs of the camp. Campers must bring all softball equipment, tennis shoes/turf shoes, and a water bottle. Participants must bring lunch, as it will not be provided. Due to state law in Delaware, guardians must sign campers in and out each day unless athlete is 18 years old.
